Virtual & Augmented Reality

Technological advances have enabled simulation of environments, or of aspects of environments such as landmarks, for use both in research and in technology design. Virtual reality means replacing a person’s real-world perception with perception of a simulated world, while augmented reality involves superimposing simulated features, such as landmarks, over natural perception.
